Wine Guild and RAG Club members and guests enjoyed a truly decadent tasting of fine caviar and English wines recently, hosted at the wonderful Army & Navy Club.

Speakers took guests through the different types of caviar, such as Beluga, Osetra, Sevruga, and Sterlet, and their unique flavours before a presentation on pairing the right wines for these subtle delicacies.

Wine Guild Director Julia introduced guests a diversity of styles from traditional method sparkling rosé to fine white wines from Chardonnay, Bacchus and Ortega – chosen to complement the different and subtle styles of the caviar.
