Lebanese Lunch and Wine Masterclass
20 July 2024
With a total production of just seven and a half million bottles, Lebanon is a very small player in global wine terms — Bordeaux alone produces around 900 million bottles. Yet this tiny country consistently punches well above its weight. A growing international reputation for quality is steadily emerging for Lebanese wine, particularly for its red varieties, which combine character, elegance and a strong sense of place.
Event Outcome
For this masterclass, we were joined by Lebanese wine importer Pierre Chidiac of Lebanese Fine Wines, who presented a superb selection of the finest wines he represents. We also felt it was only fitting to host this wonderful masterclass in a Lebanese restaurant. The choice proved an excellent one, with the event taking place at Orjowan Restaurant.
