Attendance was striking, and Innholders’ Hall, at the City of London was filled to capacity.
The ceremony and reception were accompanied by students from the Royal Academy of Music. At this distinguished occasion, an Honorary Diploma was awarded— for the first time in the Guild’s history — to the late British winemaker Mr Peter Hall, who delivered a short address, briefly recounting the story of his Breaky Bottom winery.
Event Outcome
Our Guest of Honour was Mr Alan Bryden, The Honourable President of International Federation of Wine Brotherhoods (FICB) to present the Diploma!
Members of the Guild’s long-standing leadership and senior staff will receive their membership medals while wearing the historic robes.
