The Wine Guild of the United Kingdom warmly invites fellow wine brotherhood members from around the world to join us in London.
This annual event is the highlight of our calendar and celebrates tradition, fellowship, and the shared pleasures of fine wine, food, and company. We are honoured to welcome our international friends to experience the full pageantry and conviviality of this much-loved event in the heart of the UK’s capital.
The venue for the evening is the prestigious Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill, located in Portman Square, at the very heart of London’s West End.
The evening will begin with the intronisation ceremony, where new members are formally welcomed into the Wine Guild of the United Kingdom by our Chancellor, The Rt Hon. the Viscount Thurso. This will be followed by an English sparkling wine reception, offering the perfect opportunity to mingle with fellow Guild members and international guests.
Our Banquet will feature a specially curated menu, paired with a selection of exceptional wines introduced by Guild experts. Musical accompaniment throughout the evening will be provided by musicians from the Royal College of Music, adding further elegance to the occasion.
To make your visit even more memorable, we are also pleased to extend a further invitation to FICB members to join us the following day for a special tasting event, celebrating our shared passion and deepening the bonds of international friendship.
